Media Credentials for Stadium Sideline Access

Credentials

  • All media personnel must request credentials by following these two steps:
  • It will be up to the district's discretion to run a background check.
  • Media credentials will be distributed prior to the game; instructions for pickup will be sent via email after approval.
  • Credential requests must be received by 9 a.m. on Wednesday prior to home games.

Eligible Media Personnel Are:

  • Staff or freelance writers, photographers, or videographers affiliated with a credible, recognized media outlet.
  • Local radio staff.
  • Student photographers or videographers authorized by the principal and sponsoring teacher for a class project or activity.
  • Independent freelance photographers not affiliated with a media organization are not eligible for sideline credentials.

Guidelines:

  • All media personnel (print, social, broadcast and photographers) must wear their media credential at all times when on the sidelines.
  • No media allowed in the team area (20-yard line to 20-yard line and designated on the field). Use the track for moving back and forth between sides.
  • All media personnel must remain a safe distance back from the sideline so as not to interfere with officiating crew, chain crew and players.
  • Media personnel may not access locker rooms or other private player/coach areas.
  • Media personnel are expected to show respect toward athletes, coaches, officials, & fans.
  • Media personnel must follow instructions from district/school administration as well as the officiating crew.
  • Credentials issued by Carthage ISD are only recognized at Bulldog Stadium.
  • Failure to obtain and display credentials or to follow guidelines may result in the loss of sideline access.
  • Unauthorized live-streaming is prohibited.
  • Content may not be sold or used commercially.
  • Carthage ISD reserves the right to use photos & video for promotional purposes.
  • Carthage ISD personnel taking photos/video in an official capacity for their job are exempt from these guidelines.
